The Charity

All proceeds from the Fresh Air Sculpture Show go to our charity, the Quenington Sculpture Trust, registered no. 1071956.

Over the past 7 shows, we have been able to achieve the following:

Over £100,000 has gone into our education programme. From donations to local children’s and youth groups, allowing them to visit museums, galleries, etc, or take part in activities designed to generate an understanding of the art and craft of sculpture, to the placement of artists in local schools and workshops.

More than £50,000 has been given to finance work experience placements and apprenticeships. This has allowed young artists to learn from some of the masters in the world of sculpture, glass and wood.

Nearly £45,000 has been given to artists in the form of bursaries – allowing them to develop their work in directions which might otherwise have stayed unexplored.

A big ‘thank you’ is due to all our visitors, buyers and supporters without whom none of this would be possible.
