Bendick, Dawn

Dawn Bendick works out of her studio (The Observatory) in Kent, UK. Born in the United States, Dawn moved to the UK to complete an MA in Material Futures at Central Saint Martins. Her experiences have led her to working with a range of materials including glass, light and textiles. She has worked collaboratively with companies such as Acne Studios as well as private clients. In 2020 Time Rock Stacks were exhibited at the Design Museum, Gent, BE and in 2021 she premiered an installation UnEquating Time at the museum Tri Postal in Lille, FR. Her work has been featured in FRAME, Elle Decor (UK), Wallpaper, Vogue (FR), Crafts Magazine, Viewpoint, and etapes. She resides in rural Kent and works very closely with her husband who is a glass caster. They have two lovely little boys together.
