Bethany McLean
Bethany McLean is a sustainable designer, artist and maker currently based in Stroud. Bethany’s designs are heavily inspired by the decorative arts and architectural movements, particularly art nouveau and the arts and craft period. Each of her pieces is crafted from luxury vintage fabrics making her collections completely unique and sustainable. During her studies at Falmouth University, she honed her skills in sustainable design, which sparked a passion that carries into her professional work. Her experience and keen eye for detail placed her working at two of the leading sustainable London fashion companies, The Restory and SOJO, where she gained invaluable restoration and tailoring knowledge.
“The Royal Pavilion” SS2024 is inspired by the beautiful Brighton Pavilion, reflecting its rich history and decorative nature.
Each material used in this collection has been carefully selected, sourced either second hand or vintage, and ranges from beautiful fine silk to bold printed cottons. The matching accessories have been restored and customised to match the designs perfectly.
