Bikker, Elise

Elise Bikker is a sculptor working mainly in bronze. She is currently based in York.

Her sculptural practice is rooted in human psychology. Via her hybrid creatures, which she titles “Figures of Speech” she aims to bring “the inside out”, i.e. bring to light human traits which tend to remain hidden.
