Glass artist Penny Carter is inspired by colour itself and nature, creating the Blooming Glass Series.

Flame worked glass which is intensely coloured using traditional bead-making techniques but with a twist.  Building up layers of juicy colour and texture, some of the spike details have up to four layers of colour alone.
