Abel Smith, David, Founder

David is an engineer and has recently retired as chairman of the family-run company, Majorlift Hydraulics Limited, based in Wickwar, Gloucestershire. He and Lucy founded the Quenington Sculpture Trust as a charity in 1998. He was a trustee and the financial director until his retirement. His main passion is contemporary glass.
