Dorothy Reglar

Dorothy Reglar is a well-established designer/maker of one-off garments with a passion for the textiles she uses.

After 4 years at college and working in London for a couture house for 8 years, she leapt at the opportunity to work overseas with weaving projects in the Far East.

Alongside working for NGOs, these experiences did not only change her own creativity but also helped change the lives of the women in the jungles of Thailand and cities of Laos.

Always aware of cultural sustainability and concerned with keeping traditional weaving/craft skills alive she has travelled far, enjoying her creative journey in ways that she could never have guessed when wielding her needle at Belville Sassoon.
