Clare’s work is rooted in the personal: exploring themes of emotional impact. She crafts her sculptures and sculptural vessels in a variety of stoneware and porcelain clays, using both hand-building and throwing techniques. Oxides, engobes and glaze create subtle variations of colour and tone to reflect the narratives explored through the work.
